Fix the cause, not just the symptom

A damp patch on the ceiling is rarely where the water actually gets in. Our roofers inspect the whole area — slates and tiles, ridges and hips, valleys, flashings, the chimney and the gutters — to trace the leak back to its source before any work starts. You’ll get a clear explanation of what we found and a written quote before we lift a tool.

Many repairs are completed in a single visit. If we need access equipment or scaffolding we’ll tell you upfront, and we always leave the roof watertight and the site clean at the end of each day.

Planned roof maintenance

Regular checks catch small problems while they are still inexpensive to put right. We clear gutters and valleys, re-fix loose slates and tiles, check pointing and flashings, and send you photos so you can see the condition of your roof for yourself.

How quickly can you repair a leaking roof?

For active leaks we offer 24/7 emergency callouts and will make the roof watertight as a priority. Non-urgent repairs are booked in as soon as possible, depending on the weather and access.

Do I need scaffolding for a roof repair?

Not always. Many repairs can be carried out safely with roof ladders or access towers. If scaffolding is needed for safety, we include it in your quote so there are no surprises.

Can you send photos of the problem?

Yes. We photograph what we find and what we’ve fixed, so you can see exactly what has been done — even if you can’t get up on the roof yourself.

Should I repair my roof or replace it?

If the roof covering is generally sound, a repair is usually the most cost-effective option. If slates or tiles are failing across large areas, we’ll explain the options honestly and can quote for both.
